Universal Hinge
The K series is a globally universal design for door gaps ≥ 3.40 mm, sharing the modular spindle-core platform (B-type, shared with M / R). At 6 × 4.5 inch it replaces most common market sizes — ideal for retrofitting existing door frames on site.

The K series fits most existing door frames — simply verify a door gap ≥ 3.40 mm on site, then replace the old hinges directly with no frame modification required.
12-Color Ribbon (W Optional)
W hidden wiring is optional: UL-10362 Teflon 250°C 28AWG × 12F 12-color flat cable (colors per ASSA ABLOY U.S. market standard), or UL-1569 PVC 105°C AWG26.

The DM catalog focuses on HSW, TSW and LSW. Each model includes S stored torque and W concealed wiring; TSW adds the safety pin stop for temporary hold and access control, while LSW adds an escape safety pin that can be pulled down for immediate emergency push-open.
