The M series Mortise leaf uses an interlocked barrel structure compliant with U.S. ANSI A156.17 — ready for direct spec-compliant procurement in U.S. commercial projects.

W hidden wiring is optional: UL-10362 Teflon 250°C 28AWG × 12F 12-color flat cable (colors per ASSA ABLOY U.S. market standard), or UL-1569 PVC 105°C AWG26.

MDEA Anchor · Fast Installation

With MDEA dual-expansion anchoring, one 5 mm hex wrench completes installation and stored-torque setup — saving time and cost with no modification of the existing door frame.

A single hinge achieves 0°→90° auto-opening or 90°→0° auto-closing. One 5 mm hex wrench adjusts the stored torque; the floating spindle auto-matches brake force. The TS pure-mechanical structure with safety pin offers near-lifetime durability.
MDEA installation: On D / K / M / R hinges, no special washer is needed — it locks directly into the three grooves on the leaf. For general universal mounting, the dedicated washer is required for the best fixing results.
Patent & Quality: Multifunctional Modular Hinge Device & System — patent pending at the Taiwan IPO (CP-39498). Made in Taiwan (Douliu, Yunlin).

TS / LS Safety Functions from the DM Catalog

The DM catalog focuses on HSW, TSW and LSW. Each model includes S stored torque and W concealed wiring; TSW adds the safety pin stop for temporary hold and access control, while LSW adds an escape safety pin that can be pulled down for immediate emergency push-open.

TS Pure Mechanical · Near-Lifetime Warranty

The TS pure-mechanical structure is extremely long-lived and virtually indestructible — effectively a near-lifetime warranty. Waterson supporters who cover round-trip shipping may exchange a unit anytime.

One hinge, full auto: HSW / TSW modules integrate stored torsion with braking. A single hinge achieves 90°→0° auto-closing and 0°→90° auto-opening. W concealed wiring is optional.
